Dr. John Bono was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut and went to High School in a small town called Orange in Western Massachusetts.
It was a small close-knit community and that's where Dr. John developed his "Family First" mentality.
After seeing a chiropractor in 1981, he knew that's the profession he wanted to be involved with. Dr. John first finished school in Orange, then took the leap to San Luis Obispo to begin college.
After SLO, he ventured to the Bay Area to continue his education at Palmer Chiropractic.
4 years later he graduated and was ready to begin his life-long dream helping people heal. Although his practice is open to anyone, he loves treating whole families. This is probably related to growing up in a small town where every family looked after each other.
Dr. John has been in the Bay Area treating patients for over 25 years now. He is happily married to his school teacher wife and in the last couple years, discovered the joys of fatherhood.... TWICE!
Besides chiropractic, Dr. John is an 8th Degree Blackbelt and President of the Kajukenbo Associtaion of America.
He is also a Certified Instructor of Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Larry Hartsell. He teaches at his own school at night following his day at the chiropractic office.
